Port Counseling Center Facts

Now named Port Counseling Center, the facility was founded by concerned community residents and parents of adolescents in 1969 and was then named Port Alert. In 1970 Port Alert bought the building it is housed in to this day. In 2006 Port Counseling Center became a medically supervised facility and eligible to accept Medicaid payments for services.
In June 2010 Port Counseling Center celebrated its 40th Anniversary.
