SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

Mr. Lawrence Dubin has 29 years of experience in
substance abuse counseling. Mr. Dubin is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York State since 1999. He has worked primarily with adolescents, but works with adults as well. Mr. Dubin's forte is group and family counseling. His previous employment has been at Aurora Concept, Inc. from 1978-1988; 18 years at Daytop from 1988-2006 when he joined Port Counseling Center. His caseload includes adolescents and their parents in individual and family counseling, with adult mandated clients; he leads the relapse prevention group and provides outreach for the agency.He has also been employed in a detoxification facility and with DWI offenders in Lake Grove.
