VOCATIONAL COUNSELOR

Patricia Snowden, MS, CRC graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and earned a Master's Degree in Community Mental Health from Long Island University, CW Post Campus. Pat served as an intern, and was subsequently hired, at Nassau County Office of Women's Services, a county agency providing life skills education And counseling to women from all backgrounds. An interest in substance abuse counseling led to a certificate from South Oaks Alcoholism Counseling Program in 1988 followed by employment at EAC (Educational Assistance Corporation, Inc.), a non-profit human services agency providing on site vocational services to the substance abuse population at Nassau County substance abuse treatment agencies. Pat became certified in vocational counseling in 1997 And holds a CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counseling) National Credential.
