Sven Feyler, LMSW joined our staff in March 2011 and has been in the addictions field since 2000. Sven had been in the advertising field for over 30 years, 17 years in which he had his own advertising business in Manhattan. Sven became interested in Social Work when he cared for his aging father and thought of entering the field of Gerontology. During the 2nd year of Social Work graduate school, Sven decided to enter the field of addiction hoping to make a contribution to individuals who gave up on themselves due to alcohol and drug addiction. As a New York State licensed social worker, Sven previously worked as a substance abuse counselor and supervisor in South Jamaica and as a counselor at two not-for-profit substance abuse clinics in Nassau County. Sven holds a Masters Degree in social work from Stony Brook University.
